This component is complete and can be used. The interfaces will be supported until the function is removed from the project via the deprecation process. There will be ongoing extensions to this function, but it will be done to ensure backward compatibility as far as possible. If there is a need to break backward compatibility, this will be discussed and reviewed in the community, with a documented timeline.

Product Manager API

The Product Manager API provides a REST API to support user interfaces (UIs) relating to the definition and maintenance of digital products and digital product families.

Key Features

The Product Manager API supports the following key features:

  • Digital Product Dependency Management: Link and unlink dependent digital products to represent product hierarchies and usage.
  • Product Manager Assignment: Assign and detach product managers to digital products to define responsibility and ownership.
