• Florence is a recent graduate who has just joined Stew Faster's manufacturing team.
• She is working closely with Stew to learn as much as she can about how Coco Pharmaceuticals makes its products.

Thinks/Feels:

• Florence is very bright and keen, and enjoying the chance to apply her chemistry in a real business.
• She is conscious of how much she does not yet know about manufacturing, and is anxious not to slow the team down.

Hears:

• Stew explaining how the manufacturing lines work. He rarely has to tell her anything twice.
• Occasional frustration from Stew when she does not understand something that he thinks is basic.

• Asks a lot of questions, and takes careful notes so that she does not need to ask them again.
• Looks for the reasons behind each step of the manufacturing process, not just the steps themselves.

• A great deal of knowledge about the manufacturing process that is held in the heads of experienced people, such as Stew, rather than written down where a newcomer can find it.
